In the heart of Dubai’s unrivaled center, ERGØN & WØLF and Østersø Design Studio unveil Emirati One, a showcase of architectural prowess and automotive elegance. The space, meticulously designed with smart materials, bathed in indirect white lighting, and graced by smooth, shiny floors, transforms into an elegant reverie. As the supercars radiate aerodynamics, our vision extends beyond, capturing the luxury, speed, and futurism that defines Emirati One.
Every corner, from the sleek sports car showrooms to the inviting lounge, resonates with a harmonious blend of opulence and velocity. The chill areas, adorned with ochre lights and palm trees wrapped in a luminous embrace, offer a warmer, cozier atmosphere, inviting guests into a world where architectural brilliance meets the pulse of high-speed luxury.
In crafting Emirati One’s ambiance, a conscious decision was made to reserve the graceful curves and undulations for the sports car showrooms.
This deliberate architectural choice ensures a seamless fusion of space and design, perpetuating the sensation of speed that defines the essence of this unique environment.
Straight lines and inclined planes, on the other hand, find their place exclusively in the meeting rooms, lounge, and reserved areas. This thoughtful interplay draws a parallel between the linear, rational logic of human thought and the dynamic, curvilinear aesthetics mirroring the speed of the models on display. It’s a harmonious balance, where architectural elements echo the energy and velocity inherent to the supercar experience.
The vision was to transcend traditional automotive showcases, envisioning an environment where architecture becomes a dynamic accomplice to the thrill of supercars. Each curve, each line, was carefully conceived to capture the essence of velocity.
The challenge, began with the meticulous selection of a harmonious color palette. White, chosen to enhance the play of light, became a focal point, but determining the shades of jet and steel gray proved to be a tough task. The lounge, with its symphony of ochre, bronze, and silver hues, posed an additional complexity, demanding a delicate balance to achieve visual cohesion. Ensuring the sloping ceiling planes seamlessly harmonized with circular tables and armchairs required a level of finesse that pushed our creative boundaries.
Bringing the vision to life required an execution that mirrored the dynamism of our inspiration. This visual challenge became an opportunity for us to surpass our own standards, resulting in an outcome that not only met the demands of architectural precision but exceeded expectations in creating a visually stunning and harmonious space.
